Located behind a charming shop filled with unique items and clothing, the café offers an inviting atmosphere. Though there is an outdoor area, we opted to sit inside due to the chilly weather. The interior was tastefully decorated and the service was welcoming. We selected a delicious cheese and apple toastie and a bacon sandwich from the diverse menu. The tap water was served chilled in a Kilner style bottle. Both meals were superb, accompanied by all necessary condiments. The prices were reasonable for the quality of food provided. We have visited before and will definitely return in the future.

I had a delightful experience at this charming shop and café! Located in a picturesque little town, it was bustling with activity, offering charming gifts and clothing. The café lived up to expectations with delicious coffee and cake, exceptional service, and reasonable prices.

If you are vegan or plant-based, there is no reason to visit this restaurant as there are no options for you. There is not a single cake or even an uninspiring sandwich available.

Like a lot of places prices have gone up. Always used to be busy but virtually empty thurs lunch time . Meal of pancakes and bacon very average. Food not very warm and light on maple syrup

We’ve been here often and thought it was about time I wrote a review. My friend and I usually come in on a Saturday for coffee…sometimes with cake (all delicious…particularly the carrot cake) but at the moment we seem to have become addicted to the amazing brie and cranberry toastie! It comes with lovely coleslaw and salad. The food is delicious, coke is lovely and the service is fab. Always bustling…but we always seem to manage to get a table. Everyone is friendly and chatty and we often meet new people. Not to mention the lovely things you can buy in the shop. Very happy customers!
