Palmer's Deli Market West Des Moines

I absolutely love the soup here; it's my favorite! The sandwiches, salads, and baked goods are all great as well, but this place really puts the "Seinfeld soup Nazi" to shame!

The ordering system frustrates me for no good reason; it’s not user-friendly at all—quite the opposite, really. However, I can’t get enough of the Turnberry on ciabatta; it’s my current obsession.

My salad with mandarin oranges and chicken was outstanding. The fresh ingredients and variety of lunch options are always impressive. I also enjoy picking up a small side container of salads from their deli counter to take home. And I can’t resist the molasses cookie—it’s my favorite treat every time!
