Mcdonald's - West Des Moines

Great menu and fast service. Also has a comfortable environment and seating for business lunch with outlets for laptop plus free wireless!

Probably one of the best McDonald's I've been to recently.

The Hispanic lady with colored hair put a Hispanic lady who barely understands English at the register. They are hiring Hispanics who also barely speak English. The manager came over and told me that they will not customize my order. I went to another McDonald's and had my order filled with no problem. Every other McDonald's customizes my order, but not this one. The customer service is ridiculous that I had to pull into a spot just for two McDonald's ketchup packets and a small fries with less salt on it.

Waited through a long drive thru line and only ordered a Quarter Pounder with Cheese and a Large Diet Coke pretty simple order. But when I finally got to the window I had to pull over to wait. Got back to my work/desk with my food I'm low carb so I removed the bun and threw the patty on a plate and began to eat it with a fork and it is freaking RAW disgusting! Had to throw it away. Why McDonald's?? Why do you ALWAYS disappointment me?!?!

McDonald's is McDonald's. We all know the food is okay, but it's basic fast food. We go there cause we're looking for something fast or as a treat for our children. For this McDonald's the food lives up to what I would expect. Well prepared and hot. The problem, as with many businesses, is their staffing. The staff they had worked hard and as a team, they simply needed more help. It took much longer to get out food than I would expect from a fast food restaurant. Which isn't so bad unless you have hungry kiddos waiting with you. Then you realize maybe I need to stick with Chick-fil-A! ????
