We waited for about 10 minutes when someone saw us, they told us we came to the end of the bar and then was asked what we wanted. I mentioned that we just follow what the 2 characters said that was waiting to sit by the host was then asked you want the bar or the menu. Of course, the first experience was a shutdown. The server was okay. I ordered two appetizers, one of which was a cauliflower. I tasted 1 piece and found that I don't like the court at all. We waited for the server to come back to our table, which was about 20 minutes later, and I informed him that I liked the court and would remove it from the bill. He said he would take it back, but then he was informed by someone that it could not be removed from the bill and I actually had to pay for something I didn't like. He then asked what you want me to do with the meal and I reacted, throw it away. I didn't like it so I didn't eat it, but I was forced to pay for it. I've never experienced that when I didn't like food after my first taste. Now I can understand if I had eaten a third of the meal, but that wasn't the case. Needless to say NOT order if you are not sure that you will enjoy it. Oh and if you are looking for a good quick option, this is definitely not the place. UPDATE: Since I was in the hotel, received a call from Marriott's manager later on that evening, which apologised for the inconvenience and removed the cost of the unwanted meal. She expressed that there was a false communication with a new employee who did not realize that the unwanted meal (if hardly eaten) could be reimbursed. I appreciate Marriott's help, although I didn't ask her how I think they're separate beings.
I had the breakfast buffet because I stayed at the hotel. But I wasn't a platinum or titanium member, so I had to pay $25.99 plus tips for the sadst breakfast ever. Nowhere was mentioned when booking. All I saw was complementary breakfast. The food was just okay and not many options. The only protein options I saw were scrambled eggs, pork sausage and bacon. Will not recommend if you have to pay.
Bartender poured me double shots didn't ask if I wanted a single or double and when the bill came she charged for 4 drinks when I only had 2. When I questioned her she said it was because you had 2 double shots. Will never be going there again! It really stinks because I stay at the Marriott.
Food was incredible and truly amazing! The staff was attentive and amazing! They just reopened and are pulling out all the stops and then some! It?s a hotel restaurant that should be a standalone as the food was superb! If you have a chance to go, definitely go. Do not let the fact that it?s in a hotel deter you as it is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to!
We booked a block of rooms with the Marriott for my sons wedding. We chose it because they had attached the bar to her who said she was open until 1:30. After arriving back to the hotel from the venue at 9:30 it went down to a very packed bar. The hotel said there were several events there this special weekend. Much to our surprise there were only 1 bartenders who announced around 11 they overwhelmed and closed. It was very disappointing and embarrassing as host of the wedding. I would not recommend counting on the bar for parties, especially according to other reviews with similar experiences.
