Tsunami - West Chester

I had heard nice things about this restaurant so decided to come try it out. The atmosphere is nice, but I was not very impressed with the service. The food was yummy, nothing over the top delicious, but it was good! I would come here again when I feel like having Thai food in WC. We had a veggie roll, curry-noodle with tofu and the general Tso’s tofu. Nice that they have a good amount of vegan options.

My friend and I both ordered Thai dishes here (one curry and one basil stir fry) and neither of us were impressed. The basil stir fry was at least spicy, the curry was extremely bland. This was one of the only places right in downtown West Chester that I could find with decent vegan options that was open late for dinner on a Saturday night (we sat down around 8 pm). It seems like they have a lot of dishes that can be made vegan, so I would be willing to give them another try when I'm back in the area.

They have about 6 vegan sushi rolls that are all tasty. The Avocado, Cucumber, and Asparagus roll are a bit bland, but the Vegetarian, AAC, and Sweet Potato Roll are worth trying. Out of all the rolls my favorite is the Vegetarian Roll (cucumber, avocado, asparagus, and oshinko). Update: I came here again and try some of the other food and it was equally amazing. The drunken noodles were great and so was the vegetable teriyaki and vegetable tempura. I also loved the scallion pancakes. Updated from previous review on 2022-05-09

We ordered take out and they had tons of vegan options. It was a good mix of sushi and other vegetable based fare

They do have a variety of dishes that can be made vegan, so I would consider giving them another chance the next time I'm in the area.
