Very cozy, intimate atmosphere in a historical setting. Due to the age of the building though, the acoustics were not good. We could hear the table across...
We had the most magical night at the Marshaltown Inn after my college graduation. The food and atmosphere were great, my family always gets the fondue. But,...
Had a phenomenal experience this evening for a surprise engagement dinner. The service was great and friendly while the food was delicious. We were pleasantly surprised by how big the charcuterie board was (4 of us shared it and still had leftovers) and also surprised by how good the blacked chine nachos were. We would all definitely return!
Really nice old building. If you are unfortunate enough to be there there at between 5:00 and 8:00 p.m. This time of year when the sun's going down and you're one of the tubers where you get blasted make sure you have your sunglasses. God they don't have curtains in some areas. They must know the sun goes down the same place throughout the year. Please spend $10 on curtains to make your customers visit better. I don't know if we got the phone totally off night or what but it wasn't that busy and we would definitely not come back. Slow service, food was great for the most part but I think you could get the exact same thing right next door at the four dogs. We thought this place was fancier food like the dueling Kurtz but hamburgers chicken wings seem to be whatever put in the restaurant was ordering. Good bar food with heavy dose of bright sunshine blasting 25% of the restaurant.
