Mabel's Barbeque - West Chester

First time having soul food since moving to Chester County 16+ years ago and lemme tell you it didn?t disappoint. You ever love food so much you dance while you eat it? Yeah that?s me and I don?t care who knows. Have a friend in Georgia and finally got to use his phrase. ?Bbq so good make you wanna slap yo mamma!? Mabels coming with that down home southern flavor. Don?t hesitate, order and enjoy! Delicious!

1st , the food was awesome. The fried chicken, brisket, ribs and the collard greens were as good or better than home made. The sweet potato pie was some of the best we've had and the lemon 7 up cake also excellent. 2nd the family atmosphere. How did I not discover Mabel's sooner? The ribs were incredible, and they serve the best fried chicken I've ever had. The collard greens and fried okra were also fantastic. Plus, they've now expanded their dining area, so there's plenty of space! We can't wait to return!

Hidden Gem in West Chester. This was my first visit to Mabel's with my girlfriend, though I've had soul food before. I can confidently say that it is one of the BEST soul food spots I’ve ever experienced. The restaurant is small, with only 2 or 3 tables for dining in, but that won't deter us from returning. We weren't looking for a fancy environment; we came for the delicious food, and that's precisely what we got.

This is my 1st time here,I'm actually upset that I haven't been here before,since they told me that they have been at this location for 17 years! The ribs fall right off the bone, the sauce is good too. The sweet potatoes and Mac and cheese are delicious. Definitely will be going back!
