Ichiban Sushi - West Caldwell

Dinner Bento-Box. Lachs teriyaki and vegetable tempura were perfectly cooked and tasty. Tempura was slightly broken. Seaweed salad and spicy tuna reel were also good. Come with rice, miso soup and salad (they forgot the salad this time). Regular nigiri sushi entree. Fish was fresh and delicious. Come with elk soup and salad.

The sushi is good and the prices are fair. I've eaten twice here, once for the recording and once inside. The restaurant was clean, server was attentive, food came out quickly. No complaints. This is a good local sushi spot.

Excellent staff and prices! The Sushi cuisine is very friendly and very timely. On rare occasions I only had to wait for a pick-up order, but otherwise this is a very pleasant place. Small inside and intimate. One of the better sushi restaurants in the area.

Come here a few times when we're looking for Japanese food. We always order fried oysters and squids because they are not very common elsewhere. Both hot food and sushi are worth trying. Many people go out, but sitting in the service is also very comfortable:

Small and unassuming place, but sushi is solid and well priced. For some reason I always expect them to drop the ball at some point but they never disappoint. Live locally been coming here for years.
