Honestly we slept wonderfully and the bed was very comfortable.. The area is safe and quiet.. We have stayed a more high end hotels and our stay here was a way better experience! It was nice and quiet and we didn't have a bunch of noise waking us up like you get a a lot of hotels..We always check the AC filters when we get into our rooms at any hotel and this one had the cleanest of any place we stayed in the last year... That was a pleasant surprise... We highly recommend this place and the price was great.. Thank you guys!RobertSafety: You feel very safe and not worried your going to get robbed or mugged and no worries about your vehicle getting broken into like if you stayed in the city..Walkability: Casey's is right next door and they have a Mexican restaurant right there.. Perfect for a night stop over
For paying $68/night you can’t expect much, but a room with a STRONG mildew smell was not on the list. We abandoned the first room we were in, it was plainly unbearable with the smell of mildew and strong cleaning products. The staff did politely change our room with NQA, so that was positive. The room LOOKED fine and as you would expect from a budget hotel. Breakfast was provided as promised. We won’t stay here again, but if you just need to sleep and don’t have allergies (like we do) the mildew may not bother you. ??
Typical Days Inn property. Outdated, in need to repairs and a major decor updating. Breakfast offering was underwhelming and not overly appealing. If you are just needing a bed for a few hours it will work.
We stopped here on the way home from South Dakota, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were also cheap. As soon as we got into the room, it smelled of mildew. We went pretty much straight to bed, and in the morning noticed what we hope is barbecue sauce but what looks suspiciously like blood on the ceiling and shower curtain. There was a hole in the bathroom wall, the TV switch was broken, and there appeared to be water damage on the ceiling as well. When we left the hotel, we noted that the back doors were broken and had no security system. It's not often that I leave a hotel feeling dirtier after a shower than I felt after a day of travel. If you can stay anywhere else, then stay anywhere else.
Stayed the night at this location while traveling through the area. Hotel shares the building with a Mexican restaurant which is located on the west side of the structure. Because the front door is the entrance for both locations, parking was a little problematic when I first arrived. The check-in process, however, was quick and easy. Staff was helpful and friendly. Hotel appeared to be in various states of repair and maintenance. Entrances and hallways were worn and somewhat shabby. Bedroom had some similar well-worn areas, especially the doors to the hallway and bathroom. The sinks and shower appeared to be recently renovated, since they were much more modern and pristine. Mattress and pillows were comfortably soft yet firm. Limited continental breakfast, which mostly consisted of bagels, toast, or waffles.
