Trulli Pizzeria

Sometimes woodfired pizza can be all about the base with very few toppings. Not at Trulli where the tops and bases are both delicious. There is a good choice of toppings and the bases are crisp and tasty every time

I love going to this Pizzeria. The staff are always friendly and accommodating. The pizza is alway great and I just enjoy the honesty of it. The desserts could be expanded as they're the weakest part of the experience. Good wine list.

Staying at a friends cottage in Venus Bay we decided on a lunch out. What a find Trulli was. Not only was the food excellent but the service was outstanding which is a rare find today. Great food. Great service and great wine makes for a perfect Saturday lunch.

Ate here two nights in a row. Meeniyan is a small country town. You wouldn't expect to be blown away by a restaurant found somewhere like this but Trulli is amazing. It would not be out of place in any major city food district and even there it would still be one of the best. Brilliant gourmet pizzas, amazing antipasto and a very credible wine list. A few quirks that add to the charm not detract from it (tumblers for wine) and oh so yummy pizzas. Return to Meeniyan during the day and you'll find Trulli isn't the only anomaly as the town has some other surprises for the visitor too. Unlike some other reviewers I found the prices very reasonable. If you are anywhere within an hours drive "do yourself a favor" and eat here!It's also worth asking why such an amazing pizza place can be found in a small country town - it's a story worth hearing and a take the staff love telling!Oh and the staff and the service were beyond reproach.

My wife and I stopped in for pizza on our way back to our lodgings near Wilsons Prom and were very impressed. We had a Greek pizza with shredded lamb and tzadziki and a BBQ chicken pizza. The ingredients were fresh and tasty and the crust was very traditional Italian. The olive oil was amazing and locally produced - after leaving we made a visit to the place where it is made and did a tasting. We liked the pizza so much that we went for lunch on our way out of town the next day (we ordered the Greek again but decided to have the Trulli instead of the BBQ). The Greek was definitely our favorite based on the two visits. On the second visit we also tried the donuts with vanilla custard, which were fabulous.
