Grassy Roots - Wenham

I've loved this place for years, but my recent visit was chaotic and concerning. The owner wasn't wearing a mask, and I noticed someone in the back packaging food was also unmasked. Additionally, two staff members handling food at the front had their masks slipping down beneath their noses. Only one employee was wearing a mask properly over their nose and mouth. To make matters worse, a customer walked in without a mask. I'm not sure what's happening here, but I won't be returning.

I've always been a fan of their sandwiches. The last time I visited, I ordered a BLT with avocado, but it wasn't toasted as a panini. What a disappointment! I'll give them another chance, but consistency is really important. I also find their baked goods to look incredibly tempting, but no matter which one I try, they end up tasting a bit bland. Overall, I do enjoy this place; they just need to refine a few aspects.
