Romanza - Wendover

This place is obviously overpriced since it's in a casino. I expect a fine dining italian place to make their pasta in house. I had the spaghetti and it was obviously satire bought noodles. I spent almost 30 dollars for spaghetti that an 8 year old could do a better job at. The bread is great though.

We always have an amazing time here! This time we decided to take a break from our normal steak and lobster legs and try something else. We tried the ravioli, it was ok but not with the $35 as an appetizer. My husband got the braised short ribs and loved it, tender and rich with flavor (we got rice from the cafe to eat with the ribs lol) I got this crab and shrimp cannelloni, it was ok no real flavor, I couldn't really taste any seafood and the sauce was kinda bland.

All the food we ordered was great and brought out quickly. The wine and cocktail lists were also very good. Christian was our server and did an amazing job!

This is a lovely restaurant in the middle of the busy gambling area of Wendover. And if you're lucky enough to have Tyna as a waitress then you've scored even better Their menu is varied from pasta, to Seafood, to steaks, and everything is excellent. And it all comes with a basket of bread and this lovely salad And whether you want a cocktail, wine, or a soft drink they have it all

I usually expense this place when I'm here for work. Very good intimate Italian restaurant. Great for dates. The ambiance is certainly one that caters to people who should dress up as it is fine dining, but its fine if you don't. I've gone in sweatpants before. The food is plentiful especially with the fresh made bread. Its freshly made and tastes exactly how it should be with a restaurant of this caliber. So, my only issue with the place is that it absolutely has no ability go get signal for my cell phone when inside. When I asked the staff about this, they confirmed that they too have no signal inside the restaurant. What sucks is that I'm usually eating alone, so I use my phone for entertainment while I eat. There is no wifi either. When I remembered that, I took my food to go. My meal came with a soup. The soup they put in a cup. Okay, thats fine. They threw some bread in there, and handed me a bill. I usually don't look at the bill- I just pay it. When it came back I noticed my meal was $140.00. Whoops, guess I shoulda looked at it. Didn't know how they mistakenly put one of the 3 other tables in the restaurant check as my bill. I only had one $28.00 order. They were able to clear this up, and I paid my real bill. All in all, this place is for fine italian dining. But its wendover, so it's not like there are many choices. I probably won't come here if I didn't get to expense it. I'd be fine at one of the many diners or fast food restaurants around Wendover.
