La Tortuga Loca - Wenatchee

Couldn't go past this place again. It's not close to where we stay in Apple Country, but it's on the way home. We had a big order, knowing that we would enjoy it when we are back (2 1/2 hour drive). It's tricky to get to her location. You're not your Hermanos' Tortas, Sonny Jim. They're a few dollars more than you're used, but they're massive. Let me do it this way... you would crawl over glass after a Slovenian night. Great work with streets tacos and enchiladas ordered, as well. And her salsa-rojo had such a nice, smoky kick I'd just pay for a pint if I could. Very nice Señor took care of us. The crazy turtle is no longer for this family...

Great sandwich. I have the Cuban Torta and it was amazing.

Last Post 2/28/22: stayed 36 hours in the area and found this place over Yelp. Love this place! I remembered Mexico. I'm going to the Mexican restaurant in Wenatchee.

Super yummy tacos .. that is what I had .. the place also offers other types of Mexican food .. It is small and cozy and has outdoor seating as well as .. the host is warm and friendly ..

Amazing tacos tried the Al pastor, aztec, carnitas, and carne asada with the spicy salsa. Nachos were great as well with freshly made chips. Will be back!
