Blue Spoon - Wembley

Ordered the Chicken Carbonara.The description was good.Chicken, bacon, mushroom and fresh herbs with pasta in a white wine and cream sauce. $18.50. I have no truck with the white wine and cream sauce, although I suspect the white wine was minimal and cheap. Getting to the chicken, I found one small piece in my large serve. A little luckier with the bacon. Being generous I'd guess one small rasher. Again being generous with my estimate of the mushroom, one very small field mushroom. Herbs. Well this is where I have a real issue. There was not one speck of green in this dish. Dinky Di Poms would love this dish, no sign of anything green. Pasta! This is where the dish excelled. More pasta than you could poke a fork at. Don't expect it to be fresh, just dried packet stuff boiled up. Needless to say, I won't be back anytime soon.

Not a great experience. Not a lot of choice and food was average. Food Court is better, a lot more choice and fresher food.

Always good for that family meal that you didn't cook. Great food at a fair price. Now with a resident chef (it seems) and always the gorgeous girls to serve you.

Very good sized portions. Freshly cooked food. Good service. good variety of food options. Friendly staff.

The food here is what you get if you spent the whole afternoon cooking it yourself. High quality takeaway with home style cooking. Friendly service. Huge asset to Wembley and Subiaco. Don't leave us.
