Burnin' Barrel Ansonia Valley Inn

The food, service, drinks and prices at this restaurant were amazing! They offer a wide variety of wing sauces, the burgers are a generous half pound, and the loaded fries were exceptional.

We were a group of 8 and had just spent a few hours planning our mother's funeral. We were hungry and unable to find a place in the city, so we decided to try The Burning Barrel. Upon entering, we noticed it was very busy and the waitress kindly informed us that there would be a long wait for our food. She was multitasking as both a bartender and waitress in a packed restaurant, yet she remained pleasant, friendly, and unruffled. We left her a generous tip, as she truly deserved it. The food was the best bar food any of us had ever tasted - fresh, plentiful, and served hot. Although we had to wait a bit longer than expected, it was definitely worth it. The beer was also enjoyable. Our waitress, named Patience, truly lived up to her name. I will definitely return to The Burning Barrel when I am back in town.

The guy who takes up people is the owner? Go inside and he's rude. he says they have a reservation? I said no. he says we'll let me see and go away seems upset. I should have just left. we were in the bar and ate. the food was good. he also whispered to the bartenders about customers I think he should be in the kitchen after. the two servers were nice.

The food at this restaurant was cooked to perfection! The two servers on duty on October 2nd, 2021 were very busy but always attentive. I even had a pleasant encounter with the chef outside. I highly recommend trying their burgers. If you plan on dining there in the evening, be sure to make a reservation in advance.
