I first ordered a few drinks, I had a salted lychee soda and my family had the milo dinosaur the drinks came very fast and were delicious! we then ordered some food, first some lemon chicken wings and nyonya platter escape. these were both well cooked, the chicken wings are tender and juicy, and the lemon sauce was a perfect compliment. then I ordered the char koay teow with chicken. wow it was amazing that the noodles were boiled to perfection, a little firm, but hot and tasty. my family ordered the nasi goreng rice and they left nothing on their teller, which meant that everything was good. if they are looking for a delicious, healthy option, this is the place for them. If they have never tried Malaysian eating, I recommend trying it here!
A nice place for good food. They serve good quantity so it's quiet filling. Usually a very busy place. Long queue to order food. And a big wait to follow. But the food was good. Staff are quiet nice. So I would be going there again. Definitely recommend it if you want to eat Malaysian and you are near Terrace. I wish they had a way to order food ahead of time. So that I do not have to wait...
This place is really busy during weekday lunchtimes, there's often a queue but the food is worth it. Either dine in or take out, they also have a bain marie if you can't wait.
This branch on the Terrace is less busy than the Dixon St store. The food is just as good as the Dixon St store. Price is reasonable. The service is a bit off: 1. With a half empty shop I was shown to a table next to the toilet at the back of the shop. 2. Waitress gave me three menu including the lunch menu at dinner time. 3. I have my feedback about point 1 and was given reasons on why the waitress might have shown me that particular table. Recommend for the food but not really about the service.
I ordered char kuey teow (takeaway , my always go to option when I’m visiting. I think it was their last order before kitchen closes as I was not allowed to dine in. I specifically requested no pork, no lard, 100% halal please. Cashier even confirmed that with me before my payment. Got home and opened box, I didn’t notice it initially, as soon as I started to eat, I saw pork in there! (Total shock!!! And more and more pork in there, as well as lard! Seriously this is not acceptable, people don’t take pork for religious reason and you offer halal version for some of items on your menu to accommodate people’s diet requirements. I don’t see how I’m gonna visit again given this horrible experience I’ve had! You can’t expect people to open box to check if the order is right before they leave!
