Costa Coffee - Wellingborough

We were the only customers at Costa in Wellingborough, near Swansgate, a few days ago when we visited on a Saturday in July. The male barista was unfriendly and made us feel unwelcome. He informed us that we couldn't use our loyalty card due to restrictions and suggested we download the app. We found the advertising for the app to be unclear. I also mentioned that there was a competing coffee shop, Bewiched, nearby that was open without any issues. We had a much better experience at a Costa in Peterborough this week, where the barista was very friendly and used gloves and a tablet to activate our card. They made us feel welcome, seated us, and even gave us an extra cup of water when we asked for it.

I had a very tough croissant that was disgusting. Unfortunately, the staff did not seem to care about my dissatisfaction. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

I had a delicious hot chocolate at this restaurant. They even included a marshmallow in my son's hot chocolate. Thank you very much.

Great coffee, as they would expect, but the staff quite slow and robotic. tables are somewhat sticky from time to time.
