Spicy Gringo's - Weirton

This restaurant is now CLOSED! It's such a shame because they had really delicious food. They shut down approximately six months ago. I've heard that the owner, who was also the chef, has moved on to another establishment and is cooking there, but I'm not sure where.

Spicy Grincos has consistently been my favorite restaurant! It's so unique compared to others, which makes it truly the best. You should definitely go and try it before it closes!

The waitress was very friendly, but I was disappointed with the food. We were informed that the cook was absent that day. The rice was clumpy and didn't taste very good, and the beans were too watery. On a positive note, the salsas were fresh. However, I wasn't a fan of the food being served in to-go containers—perhaps a pandemic-related decision? I'm not writing this to criticize, but rather to help the restaurant improve, as it has great potential! It's also worth mentioning that our waitress seemed a bit overwhelmed; shortly after she seated us, she had to take care of four other tables.

The food was good, but unfortunately, we arrived on their last day of operation.

Fantastic staff! The service is exceptional, and the authentic Mexican flavors are absolutely delicious!
