La Tarte - Weimar

The food here is delicious, the wine is local and incredible, the setting is picturesque. By all rights, this should be a five-star review as everything about the place is superlative. However, the staff kicked us out without notice because there was a show on, and they made us leave behind the food and drinks that we had already paid for.

We went for a family birthday and the diner was wonderful. I am french, i live in germany and for the evening, i felt i was in a restaurant in Paris. Beef and duck were delicious. 5 Stars for the service young man. I think it is my best french restaurant in germany so far! Thank you

Delicious, authentic French fare. The fresh vegetables and fish, especially, are a welcome change from the heavier German food available at other restaurants in town

We were too foot in the guests and were asked to come back later and were then accommodated on time. during the Corona times the menu was limited, but the French clip, steak fries was on the menu and what a good steak was it! the wee was too. very good, thanks to the glass selection.

We stumbled on la tarte while we walked on this weekend around weimar. what an amazing surprise. after days of German and Italian restaurants we believed something else and la tarte gave it. we love French cuisine and this restaurant is really gourmet French. the chef. is from the bretagne and prepares creative, French food. you are waiting tables and making sure everyone is happy. the couple at the table next to us was unhappy with their choice of wine. her wein was quickly replaced by no asking. the wine selection is extensive and affordable. the service was attentive, but not intrusive. everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. we started with appetizers of meerroten scallops over Wasabi sauce and garnel with grilled jalapenos. for the main course my man had steamed the fish dinner - three filets fresh fish with fresh vegetables and served with a garlic butter sauce. I had braided the beouf joules, bark meat with vegetables in red wine. everything was cooked to perfection. we loved la tarte and recommend it very much. we will definitely return when we are back to weimar.
