I was there yesterday and I honestly promised something more. The food was okay. Grill fillet with pommes and sauce Bernaise. The beef was hard and small and the remaining pieces of meat were also quite clear. There were big companies there, so there was something uneasy and full. But everything is really average. It is really hard to find a reasonable Lokas in the MG room with a good price-performance ratio. I don't mean much groups. But in the end, I find it very often that what is on my plate does not correspond to what is on my account. MG can work a little.
Four for dinner in Cohnen. Had friendly and attentive waiters. All four different foods were served simultaneously. Everything very tasty and sufficient! Come back from any case. Small drops of wormwood: The tables in the front guest room are somewhat narrow.
Partly long waiting time, food came to the table to 5 people at different times, supplements also late, partly the food was lukewarm, although was updated, but very unsatisfactory. The family could not enjoy lunch together. Frozen vegetables and finished roasted ice cream. It's a little sweet. And the boss didn't care about our complaint. Too bad, as a guest who finally brings the money, you want to have more attention. We're not going.
The website has been advertised since 1827. The restaurant is located directly on the well-run B-57, but you don't have much to nothing inside. The ambience is classically old, but tastefully decorated with some very beautiful pictures, partly tasted for the appropriate apparel like Christmas. There are separate rooms that can be booked for closed companies. The map offers a good choice where to find something for every taste. The food is really very good, you realize that everything is freshly prepared. I can recommend, among other things, the Rump-Steak, fried to the point. My favourite is the mustard carving, panned, baked with mustard, onions and cheese, with fresh and tasty pommes. Also the pork steak gets here very well, juicy and delicate, not like many other restaurants where it comes dry. There were baguette slices with a delicious herbal cucumber for free. Even the pure baguette had a light, as smoked, taste. The salads are also delicious and fresh, and as an appetizer I can recommend the smoking duo: crispy garlic baguette with salmon and trout meat mousse ( Delicious! . With a little over 6 euros not so cheap, but really delicious. A special highlight for dessert is the Cassis-Sorbet for me: Two balls of them belong to fresh berry compaction with correct whipped cream (no spray cream! caramelized almond splinters and bisquit crumble. My wife can taste the cherry mandel: almond milk black cherry on hot cherries and almond pencils, also with fresh whipped cream. The service is nice, effortful and quick, despite numerous guests present. Even food comes quickly and you don't have to wait long. The whole restaurant is busy, but is well kept in fire and very clean, as well as the sanitary facilities where there is actually a small towel per guest instead of paper towels or blowers. The prices are medium, especially with regard to the quality of food, I find it very cheap. EC card payment is also possible and some parking spaces are also available. We are happy to come back!
