On the homepage there has been something since 1912, but since our move in 1991 to Bissendorf/Wietze until 2013 we knew the place as with Elfi and that has not really addressed us. So now it was time, we wanted to go to the Wietzeschänke with friends and before: we liked it very well. The guest room is pleasant, nothing unusual but also not ashamed, just good bourgeois and modern. The menu is clear, but from flame cake to schnitzel everything is there (the picture of the menu on the HP is outdated, which is now a bit more extensive, especially there are carvings with velvet sauce). Three of us have opted for carving, twice Sambal, once Paprikasauce. One person took a cheeseburger with American Fries. The burger was very good, but with some sauce that wasn't entirely my thing, but my wife tasted it very well. The scavengers were all classy, nicely thin, delicious panade and freshly roasted (I also fried in buttershmalz, not frit). The pommes were also well freed, the sauces were simply delicious (only a little, I ordered sambal sauce immediately, but that was enough for 2 portions). Only negative point when eating from my point of view: The salad came as a supplement on the plate, I would also like to place the salad under the pommes during such a meal and to let it get in touch with the sauce to the carving. It's more delicious to dress, a little more salad sauce variance (e.g. yogurt dressing, vinegar and oil, American, French) and the salad to make it even more attractive and improve content, then I like it too. Okay, I don't usually get that salad, so if I just ignored it. Service: If something was overwhelmed, too long has stopped with cuffs at guests who were well known. But overall nice and very hard.
