Sushi Coast - Webster

Can you guess which is my favorite dish? We had a fantastic first visit here while celebrating our two-year dating anniversary! Here's to many more anniversaries to come. We absolutely loved the sushi and found the staff to be incredibly charming. If only they would open another location up north near the beltway—if that happened, we would be regulars! We tried the monkey brain, 3 habaneros, 2 black tobiko, 1 spicy mussel, 1 spicy scallop, 2 escolar, the sashimi deluxe (16 pieces), 1 roll of papi maki, and 1 salmon sashimi—which was hands down the best salmon I've ever tasted in Houston—plus 2 pieces of salmon sushi.

I had the sushi and sashimi lunch for $19, which included miso soup. The sushi and sashimi were decent, but I can’t really compare the quality of the sashimi here in Houston to that of other states. I arrived for a late lunch around 2 PM, and there were only four of us in the restaurant. The food was served promptly, and our waiter was both attentive and friendly.

The food was excellent, and the kids really enjoyed it. The sushi rolls were fresh and tasty, and my son particularly loved the ramen. Our server was very pleasant and friendly, and the food arrived quickly.

I ordered spicy salmon and spicy tuna sushi rolls that came with a bowl of soup. I opted for the miso soup that did not disappoint. They sushi rolls were made to order and tasted great. The slices are full and a little large but completely worth it; this is much better than small rolls and wondering what you had to eat. They have a great lunch menu!

Reasonably priced average strip mall sushi. Restaurant was clean service was good.
