Montfort Mediterranean Cuisine

Location really matters. Go to the Burlington one near Brant Street, 100% better. This location claims montfort chicken is over cooked chicken with peppers and onions, what happened to the pineapples? The rice was watery and their potatoes were just overly deep fried with no flavour. Hummus tasted like store bought hummus and the salad was sour. Montfort salad is also very different than what we were served. The place was empty when we walked in, should have known better.

If I could get this zero stars, I would. I called ahead of time asking for a side dish of rice when I arrived she said oh I thought you asked for Fries.. I told her no I asked for a raise which is fine a common mistake that could be over the phone as they both sound very similar. However, when I was standing there, she said my boss is going to kill me and continued to swear, as if I was the problem. I asked her if she could get me rice as this is what I came here for and she said I don’t know how to make the rice and I don’t want to get the cook because he’s going to kill me… extremely unprofessional, and I’m highly disappointed as I left, frustrated without the item because she refused to get the cook.

I haven't been to this location in some time. I used to love it until I revisited it the other night. The service was fine, our waitress was pleasant and attentive, but the food? Not what I remember. I've been to the Oakville location and very satisfied, but the Dundas and Hurontario location was substandard. My expectations were set high based on past experience. It was empty when we walked in which should have been the first clue. I should mention the interior is due for an upgrade, it's trapped in 2003. I'm not sure what has happened, if it's under a different owner, but the quality of the food was unexpectedly disappointing. I wanted to rave about what I ate, but unfortunately I'd be lying. I had the worst fattoush salad with dry Montfort chicken, the garlic sauce saved it, sort of. Not to mention the stomach issues I had the following day.
