One of the only pleasures of going to my doctor's office in this plaza is the absolute pleasure of visiting CALDENSE after !!!!!Staff is friendly and fast serving up fresh and crunchy buns of all shapes and sizes.....baked goods which are delightful to try to choose just one or two....and they taste even better than they look. A wonderful source of the flaky and filling Portuguese custard tarts.Deep, dark flavourful coffees to wash all these delicacies down.Today I had the pleasure of getting a breakfast panini called TOSTA MISA...a crunchy bun filled with cheese and ham and flattened to crispy deliciousness in a panini press.

Brings me back to Portugal, the little Bistros in downtown Lisbon. Service is prompt, prices are reasonable, will definitely be back.

They sell pizza dough, but ours was so tough and hard we couldn’t even roll it out. The bread loafs crumb was too tight, seemed a bit undercooked. The coffee was also stale. I’ve tried numerous pastries and they were good. So I don’t think I’d go here for anything but sweets.

We often bought pastries here when we lived in the area. So having the chance to stop in was great. However, we were not acknowledged and the person behind the counter wasn't in a hurry to help us. We left without getting anything.

Everything is fresh and always delicious. The girls do a great job, but as a general reminder always double check your order, as sometimes they may miss certain items.
