Pink Frosting - Waynesboro

Edible, but very underwhelming. Cake tastes like sweetened corn bread, and has the same texture. Frosting seemingly wasn't flavored, only colored, and if it was flavored, I couldn't tell. Frosting was creamy, but not moist. Had an almost chalky texture. Not pleasant. Fruit on my strawberry cupcake was perhaps canned strawberry preserves? Again, not pleasant. The real issue here was the cake though. The cake is the bulk of any cupcake, and this cake was so similar in texture to cornbread that I wonder if corn bread mix was being used, albeit with sweetener added. Bonus negative points for the single cupcake to go boxes being absolutely terrible at allowing either the worker to place the cupcake in without messing up the frosting and impossible for me to remove without doing the same. Eat it directly from the box, some may suggest...? Nope, also not realistic or efficient, as the paper cupcake liner makes it difficult to get the bottom half of the cupcake out of the box without having to dig around and make a total mess. Try to enjoy at your own peril.

We stopped by after lunch and got a strawberry cupcake, salted caramel cupcake and 2 chocolate pretzels. The cupcakes were sweet and moist but didn't have much flavor. The strawberry cupcake didn't taste like strawberry at all. The chocolate pretzels were very stale. When we walked in we commented on how cute the place was and how yummy it smelled (all true) but the lady at the counter didn't care. She seemed annoyed and couldn't be bothered to even smile.

Meant to do this a while back. On short notice they made my wife's lemon cake with Louise (Bobs Burger's) on it. I don't even like Lemon Cake but it was delicious! I loved popping by and grabbing half dozen cupcakes every now and then! Everything is tastey and service is always great!

The cupcakes look tasty and the store smells yummy the combination draws you in. But the cupcakes were a total letdown. Nothing Special here folks. The lemon cupcake wasn't worth the calories. All of the frosting tastes the same and the cake, although moist, resembled something that come out of a box. None of the cupcakes on display had filling in the center, no creative or exotic creations, nothing with fresh fruit just your run of the mill cupcake.

I have tried a few of their cupcakes, and they are always so delicious. The flavor is incredible. Also, the presentation of the cupcakes look nice.
