The cocktails were medicinal. I'm grateful the waiter offered to take them off of the bill when he saw we were not drinking them. Service was very good. Perhaps this was an “off night,” but at this price point we left extremely disappointed. The least expensive wine on the menu is a Malbec at $54.
Outstanding service and food! Will definitely be going back!
It's not a steak house. It's a restaurant. No steakhouse amenities. You served yourself the steak. For the price we paid the beef wasn't worth it. Very disappointed. High priced meals not worth it.
THEY PADDED THE CHECK!! I have photos of the CHECKS they presented, EACH time they failed to correct the over charges, each grossly wrong and double charging!! They provided a check, 3x extra meals on it, and all coincidentally the most expensive meals ordered by us were duplicated!!! I confronted them, They attempted to fix it and handed me back a check with only one double charge removed and still 2x remaining. I originally circled the double charges with pen!! Over $100+ worth of overcharges! They obviously thought we wouldn't notice. EACH time I circled the mistakes! We added the bill ourselves, dropped $300 cash on the table and walked away. Only physical threatened by ownership: A guy, maybe 5'-1”, ladies leopard slippers came over, attempted to tell me how I should do what he tells me, “or else”, stood in my way and told me how I should act and, “do as he says!” Then said, “Let's step outside and solve it” while taking his jacked off on video and while I'm holding my daughter's hand to get out of this Bada-Bing restaurant!! I ignored him, cared for my daughter and my family while we walked out and away. But we paid these thieves!! While we attempted to leave, he stepped in my path 2x more times and forcing me to walk around him despite me saying I'm leaving and I left enough cash, $300 on the table to cover the PADDED BILL that we, my family, had added on our own, which was plenty. Diner beware!! While driving home I have a recorded phone call from the restaurant telling me to keep my mouth shut or else...
I will start with the positives. The restaurant has a trendy ambiance, though the bar could use some separation from the dining area. The wait service was attentive and knowledgeable, but the manager was too much. He came to the table 4-5 times throughout the meal just to check on us. The cocktails were adequate and made to our request. The positives end there. We started with one of the appetizer specials, the seafood empanadas, they were okay. Not something I would order again, but I don’t regret trying them. For our main course, we ordered the porterhouse for two, medium rare, baked cauliflower, and mashed sweet potatoes. The steak was the worst cooked piece of meat I have ever been served at a steak house. There was a large grey ring on the cook from over grilling, yet the inside was blue rare. The steak was not juicy, at all, and there was no seasoning. I would have sent it back if it wasn’t a special event for us. The cauliflower was also significantly undercooked and had the bite of raw cauliflower. It was far from the tender baked cauliflower one would expect. The sweet potatoes were light and fluffy. A little sweet but the best thing we were served as the main.We ordered a glass of red wine with dinner. It wasn’t particularly good and there is zero wine selection here. For dessert, my wife ordered the crème brulee. It was served covered in blueberries, which seemed strange. It turns out they had overdone the brulee, burning it, and rather than make a new one, just covered it in blueberries.Adjusting for price, as this was true NYC steakhouse prices, this was the worst meal I have ever been served. I believe it was a decent piece of meat, it’s just the chef must have taken the night off. I would not go back and I would highly recommend against this place.
