The spinach artichoke dip was good! My husband had the French dip with the Parmesan fries and both were great! My son had the chicken tenders and tots. The tenders where dry and the tots were good. We also had the sizzling chicken salad. The flavor of the chicken was good but the chicken was dry. I had the black and blue burger. I ordered it medium rare and it was well done : The service was good!
The food was outstanding, and the service was impeccable! The atmosphere was fantastic! However, we specifically went for the karaoke experience. We often visit various karaoke spots in search of the best sound and KJ. Unfortunately, we were let down by the KJ—his microphone was the worst I’ve ever encountered! It was falling apart on the stand, making it impossible to move around. The sound quality was severely affected because of it! So, if you're looking for great food, this is the place to be! But when it comes to karaoke, it's not so great. What a disappointment!
This restaurant offers good, hearty food. It's a small-town spot that serves delicious home-style cooking. I picked up lunch for myself and my coworkers, and I got three tasty sandwiches for around $40 (plus tip). The portions were enormous! We each managed to get two meals out of each sandwich. I had the Dubliner and was pleasantly surprised to find that the corned beef wasn't overly greasy. Everything was delicious! My coworkers loved the Mississippi hot beef sandwich, which was very filling and perfect comforting food for a chilly day, as well as the Big Porker sandwich. I highly recommend this place if you find yourself in Wayland and want to support a local business. The food is hearty, so it may not be the best choice if you’re looking for something light or healthy. I plan to return to try some of their enticing dips. Enjoy!
The waitress was exceptionally friendly and quick to respond to our needs, expertly managing several tables and the bar while making it all look easy. We appreciated her kindness in serving our shared order on two separate plates. The food we tried was good, though we've had better French Dip sandwiches; we found the meat to be a bit greasy for our liking, although the bread was tasty. The tater tots, on the other hand, were cooked to perfection! It seemed like the locals really enjoy this place, as several patrons were seated at the bar engaged in lively conversations, including with the bartender. Overall, we think this restaurant is worth a visit. The couple we were with ordered the Reuben and said it was excellent, so that’s something to consider trying next time. Unfortunately, I didn’t manage to take a picture of the food before we dug in.
