English Merchant's Parlour - Waxahachie

We enjoyed brunch here today and it was fantastic! The waffle board for two was easily enough for three of us to share, and the clotted cream butter stole the spotlight. The ambiance is truly unique, with incredible attention to detail. The seating is charming and cozy, making you feel as though you're about to enjoy a traditional tea service. For dessert, be sure not to miss the cold brew chocolate cake—it's rich and absolutely delightful. As the English might say, "It's quite lovely!" Also, don’t overlook the classic book in which your bill is presented; it's a charming detail that really adds to the experience. I can’t wait to return for dinner on our upcoming date night!

The atmosphere and food were truly unique, and I can’t wait to return. The staff was fantastic as well. I enjoyed my very first **** paired with wine there, and it was excellent. I will definitely be going back!

Delicious and unique! The cocktails are fantastic. I tried the Beef Pie, which had an incredible crust. My husband had the Bangers and Mash and really enjoyed it. Visit this place and be taken away!

The atmosphere was fantastic! We really enjoyed sampling all the various appetizers. I would suggest visiting for drinks and appetizers. The main dishes were good, but they didn't quite match the excitement of the appetizers.

Yesterday, I had brunch at this restaurant, and I was truly impressed by their fallen soldier table. It was, by far, the best fallen soldier table I have ever seen in a civilian setting! The only thing I think could enhance it would be to have some chairs leaning against the table to prevent anyone from sitting there. However, it featured fresh roses, a real candle, an overturned glass, and an informative page explaining the table's significance. I was really touched by the effort the restaurant put into this tribute. I also learned that the owner is a veteran and our server is married to one! On top of that, the food and service were fantastic. If you haven't been here yet, I highly recommend checking it out!
