I found a charming little cafe in a small town with delicious food, affordable prices, and quick, attentive service. It might just become our new favorite spot.

This restaurant has a very cozy, hometown vibe. The service is excellent and the chicken fried steak is the best I've had in a while. I will definitely be returning whenever I'm in the area.

Good home cooking in the heart of downtown waxahachie.The old style Cafe near the Court house gives you a great menu of breakfast and lunch items.The price for the amount of food was not too steep that your wallet would cry.Everything is cooked on order and always fresh. This place has a lot of history in it walls and if you sit and listen, you will get lost in the time before.I truly recommend this restaurant. Its a good place for a breakfast meet or a quick bite as you tour downtown.

It was raining cats and dogs so we pulled off the expressway and decided we would eat where we found close parking. This was perfect. I had the daily special with purple hulls, a Southern pea I'd never had before. Hubby got a burger and fries. All were good. The restroom is a little scary but necessary for travellers.
