College Street Pub - Waxahachie

So how should I rate the pub, huh? Is it a different--interesting texture when the cod batter is moist and--delicate or is the fryer just not hot enough

Super charming place with tasty food and a good list of beersShepherd's pie was delicious and the sweet corn puffs tasted great.

A nice little bar for sureI stress "little" because it is pretty small inside and is often crowded, so things can get a bit snug.

My husband and I went in about 1:30 this afternoon. Its not very big, but cute.He had fish and chips. Said they were very good. I had the French dip, probably the best I have ever had. Definitely recommend this quaint little pub

I will honestly never suggest this place to anyone. My husband brought me here for our anniversary. It's very hard to find good fish and chips. I ordered Shepherds pie. It was really good, but it was loaded with peas. I love peas, but it was way toomany. I didn't say anything, because they were so busy. Fish and chips were really good. I thought I would surprise my 87 yearold British friend. My friend had this place confused with another one. She thought she had gone there before and didnt like thefood. My friend is 87 and early stages of Dementia. The waitress took everything personal and apparently everyone in there washaving a bad day. Heaven forbid if you ask how certain dishes are prepared. I've honestly never had anything happen like thisbefore. Mainly because my friends salmon was over very well. They said it was seared. I wish I could post the picture. It wasprobably one of the worse experiences ever. I didn't know it was bad, until I noticed her eating out of the middle. I was soembarrassed because I gave this place so much praise, then this happened. Too much for me to even put on here. Horrible....????
