Arbor Tea Room - Waverley

Beautiful walk, friendly and helpful staff and a really delicious latte! we went off the beaten track and wounded a hill, but that was our own fault!

Fair standard tearoom nt with the usual decent tariff, although currently limited due to restrictions. eis was fantastic.

Small outlet with lots of outside seating. Very good service and adequate selection of drinks and cakes etc. Worth a visit.

The restaurant is set in a beautiful woodland area with nice outdoor seating. However, the cafe itself had subpar facilities. The hot sausage rolls we ordered were lukewarm, as they had been taken from a cold display case. The cream tea was served in plastic containers. The total cost of our meal, including a few coffees, was over £20. Overall, we were disappointed with both the restaurant and the arboretum. We question why the National Trust is managing Winkworth, especially considering the current expensive expansion of facilities.

There are lots of choices for vegans at this restaurant. We sampled the vegan fruit scone and it was delicious.
