Smoke Shack Wauwatosa

It was rustic and cozy inside with a small dining area. The drinks were reasonable and tasty. They have a huge menu of bourbons. I had a double and it was strong and tasty. Only one was needed. I was disappointed that my pulled chicken plate/platter only came with one side. I feel that cole slaw should be included in all plates. My husband had spareribs and he said that they were tough and would not order them again. My son had pulled pork and loved it. Our waitress was lovely and attentive. We do plan to return and try some other items on the menu.

Friendly staff, pleasant ambience for conversation, really fast and tasty drinks to start. But. All four of us received entrees that were tepid warm at best. It wasn't busy, and all of our entrees were BBQ based, so the meat was cooked before we set foot in the restaurant. Therefore, there really is no reason for it not to be piping hot when delivered to our table. This restaurant has really good food, it just needs to improve its service significantly before I'll be heading back.

Brunch was fantastic. Monte Cristo and cowboy coffee.

Still not as good as the downtown location. Food was good but brisket should not need to be cut with a steak knife. Servers were unable to be around because they were stretched too thin.

Been at the place in the past and always good. Our waitress started out good but them more or less forgot about us when we needed our bill. Had to chase her down. Otherwise great experience.
