Ono Kine Grindz - Wauwatosa

This is the real stuff, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. I've never eaten anything else there because they have such a reasonable price for an entire pound of delicious, fresh, no fillers, poke. Well worth the drive every time!

This hidden gem on North Ave. in Wauwatosa is Amazing! I picked up some food from there for a Hawaiian party at my place last weekend, and the guests were raving about how delicious it was! Thank you, Ono Kine Grindz!

It is hard to find good Hawaiian food in the west, but this place has it. It is a small family-run place that offers great portions of really good Hawaiian food to go. If you have never been there before you have been with her Kalua Pig and Char Siu Chicken Combo plate and bring a friend to help you eat it all.

Ono Kine Grindz ensured our wedding, and they exceeded our expectations in every way! Your staff has a genuine Hawaiian aloha service and made our guests' experience so special. Every single person has been killed for food! My husband and I moved to Wauwatosa from Honolulu, so we wanted to offer the most authentic Hawaiian cuisine we could find, and Ono Kine Grindz was on Oahu again. We chose a buffet line, and their team has an excellent job with the establishment and provision of great service during the meal by helping to explain the articles to our guests and filling up the food. Our menu included Teriyaki Sesam Chicken, Kalua Pig, Veggie Stir Fry wit Tofu, Purple Sticky Rice, Savory Macaroni Salad, and Lihing Carrot Pineapple Slav, plus several other items. Everyone loved everything! Guy and David the owners are a dream they work with. After my first e-mail request, they immediately set up a tasting for a day working with my schedule and really took time to plan the menu with me and my husband thoughtful. Every step of the way during wedding planning they were there with their ideas and support, and were fast on all the questions that I sent them by email. They took all the stress from planning a meal for 180 people and allowed me to have fun (and my family) and really enjoy our special day. We also love to go to the restaurant/shop! We are a vegetarian, gluten-free, milk-free pair, and there are wonderful options for us. They also have excellent tropical desserts that come in gluten-free and milk-free versions, as well.
