Tay's Dog Pound - Wauseon

My grandma and grandpa go here and have a trailer there. Although you have to pay and have a passport to come, it's really cool up there. You have various events on Halloween such as costume competition, trick or treatment and a dance place. It is very funny and you can also drive and see all decorations. As far as I know, people are really friendly and nice. Would recommend if you have a trailer. Also there is a pond with fish, but if you go fishing you have to throw the fish back. Besides the pond and other place there are 3 parks or playgrounds.

We were invited this year out to Sunny's Campground for their trick or treat by some friends of ours who camp there. It was our first time ever visiting Sunny's and we were quite impressed with the place. Lots of things for the kids to do and at $3 a person it was well worth it. We will be sure to come back and visit again next summer.

Such a nice little community. I love coming here to see family who have a place in Sunny. It is a really beautiful place with so many friendly people. They also have many different areas. You have an area with many trees that gives you the right camping experience. You have an opener, adjacent Arta area, and a few ponds that you can swim, fish and paddle boat / kayak in. There are two negatives about the place I have to emphasize. One thing is that you can't drive golf cars after 8:00 the whole season. I could understand this rule when it gets darker earlier, towards the end of the season. In summer, however, it is not dark until near 10 o'clock. It also makes me not so much sense that campers are only allowed to stay on their campsite (which they pay) a certain number of times during the season. Sunny closes from October March. So campers don't get to use these months. So it doesn't make sense why campers wouldn't be allowed to use a whole summer in a place they pay for when what they wanted to do. It's not like someone on days when they're not here is lending this place? It's weird and seems pretty unfair. Although, I don't have a personal job at Sunny, so maybe they have a legitimate reason that is explained somewhere when you sign up? Either way, you should find a way.
