Sakura Japan Sushi Grill - Waukesha

Apparently they are out of business. The store front was all papered up

This is a difficult update to make, since this was a family favorite. We were told Sakura is under new management, and they have taken a serious nosedive! Most Sushi has been removed from their menu, and the rolls my sons and I ordered were by FAR the worst we’ve ever eaten. Service was quite bad, to the point that one of our appetizers was brought to us well after dinner was ordered. My wife’s order came to the table after we were done with our orders, and it was wrong and gross!Very sad to loose a family favorite….

My favorite spot for sushi and tempura. I really enjoy the ambiance, and the service is consistently excellent. Visiting this restaurant is always a delightful experience.

This is a charming little sushi spot. I ordered the nigiri dinner but was served the sashimi dinner instead. The waitress was very apologetic and resolved the issue quickly. However, I have to say that the sushi didn’t quite meet the expectations set by some of the reviews. With so many sushi restaurants to choose from, I think I would opt for a different one next time.
