New China Buffet - Waukesha

There are several buffets like this one around, but they are not part of a chain. My companion was more familiar with this particular location and raved about the chicken in peanut sauce, so we decided to make the extra 15-mile trip. It was definitely worth it! When we arrived, we were impressed by the cleanliness of the restaurant and the adherence to COVID protocols. The food was hot and fresh, and a bonus for me was that they provided free refills of water included in the price.

I was pleasantly surprised with my experience at this restaurant. I had low expectations for lunch, but I was wrong. The atmosphere was nice and everything I tried was delicious. The fruit was fresh and everything was really fresh overall. I highly recommend the chicken broccoli dish. The staff was friendly and attentive, always ready to take away my empty plate and bring me more food. It seems like they get busy during the day, so I suggest going early. It's worth the drive to Waukesha!

We arrived at 5:30. The food was hot, fresh, and very tasty. The restaurant was clean and a woman came to clean the plates as we finished them. She also wiped down the tables once the customers had left. A great option if you're really hungry. They also had a wide variety of dishes.

Anyway, we'll stop here when we shop. eating was really good as usual. the use of plastic panels and utensils was a bit much, I draw the standard cutlery, but we understand the current precautions.

Very clean dining room but food is not as good as before COVID-19 pandemic. Lo mein noodles was good. Some of the food was cold off buffet. Fried shrimp was mostly breading...very small shrimp. Chicken and broccoli was best thing there overall. No one waved cold food that suppose to be hot. Staff friendly.
