Andrea's Red Rooster - Waukesha

We love this place! We love everything from the atmosphere, the staff, the food specials, drinks and of course the food. We love coming in on a week night and finding it filled with laughs and a sense of community. It’s always our first thought of where we should go!

The Rooster is our primary go-to spot after work when we 're ready to have some good bar food, excellent drinks, and a great time! It embodies the spirit of a great local Wisconsin bar. Whether it 's a Wednesday hump day, Thursday thank God tomorrow is Friday , or an honest to goodness TGIF, this place is a favorite for locals and you always seeing a lot of cars in the parking lot. That alone is always a good sign that a place does right by their clientele! Now, the sad news is that I 'm moving on and away from the area, so I won 't be stopping in as often at this quintessential Wisconsin watering hole. However, that just means there is one more seat during the week for the readers of this review to take advantage!

Expected a friday night madhouse, but only had to wait about 20 min and that was because we wanted a patio table. I left full (great walleye! Quite affordable for a family of 6. waitress was very pleasant and attentive. We don't eat out often, but this will become a part of our select favorites.

Enjoyed steak sandwich with onion rings and french fries. Sub roll was very good. Fries were a bit to salty but cooked just right. If you love iced tea suggest it not be ordered here. Appears to be instant. Will be back to try something else on the menu. Would get the steak sandwich again though.

New in the opposite and have been driving on this place for some weeks, they always see a few cars, so we have a plan to visit and we are not disappointed. beautiful clean place, lots of space and we can only imagine how fun this place usually must be. the outside deck looks like a great place to relax or get lost after work, depending on where you were. our eating was great and the staff was super friendly. I had the fried chicken and my wife had the rubs. both were great and you can't go wrong with the fries or homemade chips both were great. we will definitely try again some of the other great option on the menu and the beerlist too!
