Marco's Pizza - Waukee

It only gets 1 star for the food alone. I know the staff is short but every time I order from this store something always happens. From not receiving my order even though I ordered 30 minutes ago, to the order being ready 5-10 minutes late. At this point it?s not just a coincidence

Quite some time ago (I think not too much longer after Marcos opened) I stopped into Marcos to pick up an order. That night it was an absolute mess. People were backed up over an an hour waiting on their pizza. Customers were becoming rude with staff, very rude, and it just was not a good night for Marcos. Grown adults were complaining at the young staff just trying to figure out what to do. When I say they were struggling that night, they were struggling. Pizza was ok. Fast forward, a few weeks after that I received a hand written card from the business owner. Hand written! In that card was an apology for the debacle that night with a coupon for free cheesy bread, and an ask to give them another shot. I would have regardless, but this letter always stuck with me to support their efforts. Since, Marcos has been at the top of my list for the area. It?s always fresh whether delivered or pick up. I?ve ordered from here now on multiple occasions. Last night they said my order would be done in 18 minutes, and they handed it over to me exactly on the dot 18 minutes after I hung up the phone with my order. The gentleman that answered the phone was super pleasant and the younger gal that handed me my pizza was also very pleasant and thought it deserves a review. Great staff, great pizza. Pictured ha is a cheese (asked for well done) and the Deluxe with cheese bread.

This is a cute little pizza shop. Pizzas have a very good flavor. Was shocked at how long it took since we were the only ones there for lunch at 12:30pm but the dishes were ordered were delicious, nonetheless.

Our pizzas were amazing! Perfect amount of toppings, ready when it was expected and Mallory (I believe that was her name) made sure that it was all made to perfection. So impressed to have service like that and yummy pizzas on top of that. Thanks, Marcos! You nailed it!
