Mater'z Steak House - Wauchula

I'm glad this place has closed down. The food and service were terrible. Now it's a Beef O'Brady's. While I'm not a huge fan of them, anything is an improvement for the city of Wauchula compared to Materz.

It seems that the restaurant has closed down. It wasn't very busy even before the virus and shut its doors a couple of weeks into the pandemic.

It took us an hour and a half to receive our dinner, and we were one of only three tables in the restaurant. The other two tables had already received their food by the time we arrived.

Terrible experience. The food was subpar, and the salad bar was lacking, feeling very diluted. This was my third visit, and I should have learned from my past experiences. I won't be returning.

My husbands steak was nothing but fat. Told the waitress and she was like oh I'm so sorry. When she came back my husband said you might want to let the manager know. She was like oh I did. Manager never came out to say oh I'm sorry, how can I make it right, nothing! Won't be going back!
