The Viking - Watford

This takeaway is on the corner of bush mill lane and St Albans Road in Watford Tried it for the first time last Saturday night as family could not agree on one type of takeaway for all . This takeaway served kebabs , burgers ,...chicken and fish and chips Food was delicious , with good portion size and prices very competitive Ingredients very fresh and well presented We opted for a lamb shish, chicken shish and good old fish and chips . Lamb was juicy and succulent beautifully cooked in our opinion and the lamb had flavour Cod was cooked in a light batter and fish had thick flakey chunks of white cod really nice Chips appeared to be fresh and not frozen bagged chips Very satisfied with this takeaway Food arrived hot and within the time given Highly recommend Good good guys !!!

I have been a regular customer and have been satisfied with delivery and quality up until now. Waited an hour and a quarter for delivery. Food was luke warm and chips were a mixture of green and black. We threw most of them away. The...fish wasn't too bad but cold. Will try another local fish and chip shop.

I have been a long standing fan of The Viking' but just lately I've been anything but. Their food has been of very low quality recently. It might take an hour to arrive and will be cold. They can only have someone else in charge...as the owner would never allow such a thing to happen. I will not order from them for some time and even then only if I have no choice.

Thank you to the Viking Watford who on an extremely busy Christmas eve when all plans have gone up the sprout and restaurants and bars are all closed they delivered our order perfectly as always. The staff must be worked off their feet...tonight and we salute you. Thank you Viking Watford. May you have a healthy and prosperous

Food took ages to arrive once arrived my fish and chips were stuck together soaked in grease and was pure soggy. I’ve never been so disappointed, the food has left me so so so ill and so s *.... honestly avoid unless you want to sit...there for hours feeling like your going to be sick.
