Gokula Vegetarian Cafe - Watford

I went today at 8/01/2024,I went as a friend had told me about how helpful the owners are with people who are struggling with the basics like food and it took a lot of courage to ask for help.However when I arrived and I arrived in the specified time I was not even able to explain why I was there when I was just told were closed and the person then completely ignored me,I know I'm not entitled to hand outs this is a service which they do not have to provide however because I came to use the service does not mean I am not entitled to be treated how they would like to be treated and from what my friend told me they were the most caring empathetic people who work there but this was not what I found I understand people can have a bad day but it made me feel embarrassed and ashamed that I had come.

Very reasonably priced food, tasty and wholesome. Plenty of choice for vegans. Great banter with staff..

The food at this restaurant is delicious and reasonably priced, much lower than what you would find on the high street. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, making you feel like a valued customer. I will definitely be returning to this cafe whenever I am in Watford.
