I attached the very prominent sign displaying all the types of pies. I 'm excited! I asked if they had grits and was told you wouldn 't want them if we had them . I 'm not so excited now. 2 guys order the buffet, I order 1 egg over medium and small biscuits and gravy. 2 guys come back with pre made waffles and powdered eggs. POWDERED EGGS?!? my meal arrives shortly with an overcooked egg, store bought biscuit and canned gravy. really? they don 't make anything... but I 'm still holding out for pie. I ask our nice waitress do you make the pies here? . she replies we just bake them . the only thing they made was my chocolate milk. we were very disappointed. I don 't understand how a restaurant can serve pre made food like that
Over greasy hash browns that took 30 min to get. Low quality over priced breakfast buffet. Will not be returning. Recommend to just stay home.
If I were rating this place on their breakfast alone, it would be 5 stars. They serve the best breakfast in Watford City and it 's not unusual to see the place packed with tradesmen during the breakfast hours. Also the waitstaff are awesome. We 've been regulars for a long time and Carla is our favorite staff member. She always dotes over our kids and provides super friendly service. We look forward to having her wait on us whenever we go to the Little Miss. My only criticism with this place is that every once in awhile there seems to be a little bit of an inconsistency in the quality of the food being served. I had to send back a prime rib a few weeks ago because it was cold and the texture/taste was off. I hated doing it (and I never send food back at restaurants), but at $25 a plate I just didn 't seem right to not let them know there was an issue there. Then again, there was a tomato soup on the buffet that night that was the best tomato soup I 've ever had. I guess you win some, you lose some. They 've still put out some of the best food I 've had in western North Dakota and we will remain frequent fliers at this joint. I think I 'm just going to stick to my husband 's advice about eating at the Little Miss. He says you 'll never go wrong ordering a burger or a breakfast option. Stick to the basics!
I came here after hiking Theodore Roosevelt national park north unit. I had the garden omelette with hash-brown and French toast, and the lemon pie a la mode. Everything was great!
Not too bad for a small town joint. Waitress did awesome considering it was jam packed. She even took the time to cut the straw for my son. Very thoughtful of her. Good was about what you would expect for breakfast. All in all, a good place for breakfast. What made it good was the customer service.
