I was surprised not to see tumbleweeds blowing past. The Blue Moon Cafe on the balcony caught our eye, and the girl serving seemed pleased to have someone to talk to (yes, it was that busy! . We ordered the chipotle fish wraps and I asked for an Americano with an extra shot. The coffee was definitely acceptable with the extra shot, and the wrap was actually pretty tasty with some chips and a pickle on the side. A nice little lunchtime snack,
Lines out the door and no urgency for the waitstaff whatsoever. Seriously taking 5 minutes per order.
Had breakfast here before a day of skiing at Waterville Valley. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. The food was fine simple breakfast stuff and it arrived quickly. It's expensive resort prices. Friendly lady at the counter.
The food here is very good, but they are raking tourists over the coals with their prices. I just paid $36 for 2 large coffees, 2 cups of soup, and 2 very small salads (was told they were big-a good size with three slices of chicken. Breakfast was equally expensive and took them over 1/2 hour to serve. The atmosphere is great and a few of the staff were nice. Im glad i tried it but am blown away at the $80 price tag for breakfast and lunch for two people.
Great place to come in out of the rain, man..... Or the snow, of course....
