Mercadito La Rosita - Watertown

My daughter and my husband were in tonight and bought 2 chicheron gorditas and 2 barbacoa Burritos. The gorditas were awful there were hard pieces of pork in them when we specifically asked for chicheron...when they were leaving there were 2 woman in the front of the store glaring at them that worked there like they didn't belong there...guess will take our business back to waukesha panos... there very nice there and welcoming.

Note: I haven’t done much grocery shopping here; I’ve mainly gone to the Taqueria in the backWith that said, this is where I go if I want Mexican food on the fly. I have gotten the Burrito con Asada probably 20 times. Safe to say it’s my favorite burrito. It’s a massive burrito and only $10.I’ve gotten burritos for friends and colleagues and they too are impressed by the quality.Try this place out even if it’s just for the taqueria.

We love the ice cream at “Mercadito la Rosita”!! The homemade ice cream and paletas (a special type of popsicle) are by far the best desserts you’ll find in Watertown. Here I have a mango-flavored Manganada, fruit ice cream swirled with a special chili sauce and chili powder on top with a tamarind straw. It’s sooo good. Their fresas con crema (chopped strawberries in a thick cream in a cup) are also delicious. We could not recommend their delicious parlor enough!

Usually amazing food here, but we had large pieces of bones in our carnitas burritos today. I've never had burritos that were a safety hazard before.
