Maggy's - Watertown

This was the tastiest, juiciest Mushroom Swiss Burger I've had in awhile. Side salad was fresh, crispy, tasty and had a nice extra sprinkling of onion peppers mixed in. The beer was cold the staff was friendly attentive. Some recent reviews on here are poor, maybe Maggie's improved a bit get more/better staff. My experience was really good, thx!!

Mediocre at best. Table was sticky, beer was almost lukewarm, food was mediocre. Service was ok, but ordered the pull pork dinner and it arrived without the cornbread. They were out, no offer to substitute something for it or deduct from the bill. Better places close by same pricepoint.

Went on a Saturday night around 5pm. Wasn't very busy with customers; my family of 4 was seated upstairs. Nice open room with nice views of the river and nice wood fire pizza oven near the bar. Wait staff very young, but polite. We ordered a Margarita Pizza, basic burger w/ steak fries, fish tacos, side of Mac-n-Cheese and chili in bread bowl. After waiting a while for our food to arrive, we were not overly impressed. Had to send back my burger because it was overcooked and dry. Skimpy portion of steak fries for price paid for meal. Pizza was undercooked and doughy. Mac-n-cheese seemed like it was a day old and just reheated; not much flavor. Chili was okay. Fish tacos were decent but didn't come with any sides. I ended up sending my burger back and asked for another; it was much better the second time around. We didn't complain about the pizza because didn't want to wait again for our food. Needless to say, I was not overly impressed with our food at this place (not for the price paid) and would not go again or probably recommend.

I received my order through a food delivery service and could not be more satisfied! I ordered the steak supreme. I was expecting it to be average but it definitely exceeded my expectations. It was honestly the best meal from a restaurant that I've had in a while. I only gave it 4 stars because I thought it too presumptuous to give 5. This was my first and only impression and I haven't dined-in at this establishment yet either. I will be back.

Absolutely Inedible!So sad to have to throw out 60 dollars worth of food out but it was just too terrible to eat. We recently moved to the area and were excited to try a new place. The food arrived fast but was cold. Everything except the drink which was warm…. We ordered jalapeño nachos, quesadillas, tostones and yuca fries among some other things. Nothing was seasoned and nothing had any salt on it. There were no dipping sauces or sour cream aside from maybe a tablespoon of salsa in the bottom of a to go sauce cup. The nachos had a horrible flavor to them, still can’t figure it out but not about to take another bite as the one I took is lingering on my palate. It’s like a burnt toaster or dirty cooktop flavor over the nachos and the quesadillas? I hate to even bash a place of business like this but am legitimately worried I’m gonna get sick from this food. :
