Grand Central Bistro - Watertown

The facilities, the options, the staff, the premises. all were far beyond my expectations. I look forward to my movement.

Great food. Friendly service. Because of construction, it was a little difficult to find and get in.

Independent living is fine. However the health center is horrible when it comes to communication from one shift to the next as well as between staff members. Call lights are left on for 30 minutes or more. Appointments are changed and family members are not informed. Don’t put your loved one here if you can help it!!!

When my cousin suggested going out to eat at a nursing home, I thought she was kidding. It turns out, Grand Central Bistro is part of a really large senior living complex with homes and assisted living. The Bistro serves the needs of those residing in the complex as well as the public. Besides for their usual menu, they also have daily specials. The day we were there the specials were wild rice soup and walking tacos. Orders are taken at the counter and food is brought to the table. I found all 3 staff members to be friendly and helpful. A wide variety of Berres coffees (roasted in Watertown) are at a serve-yourself counter. The building is rather new and provides a pleasant environment. In summer, people can also eat outside.

Amazing facility and extraordinary staff. I’m at ease knowing my family member is in capable hands. Attentive and gentle, friendly and caring!
