The Pub on King - Waterloo

I hope this place can continue with their current menu offerings. Everything is 5.95 which is a refreshing change to most over charged restaurants. Being able to get a burger and fries for $6 is awesome. A pound of wings for $6? Sign me up. The waitress there was super friendly as well. I will be back.

I haven't visited this restaurant in quite some time, but I'm glad we decided to come back. The food was fantastic and it's still surprising to see the high quality and variety of options on the menu at such affordable prices. I think they may have the best-priced chicken wings around! This is a perfect spot for a casual get-together with drinks and delicious food.

Prices have increased by one dollar per dish, now making every dish $6.95 instead of $5.95. While inflation affects us all, it is still a great value. On Sunday nights, wings are now 39 cents each, which is still a great deal at less than $4.00 per pound. Overall, everything is good and positive.

This is not actually a pub, but rather a drinking establishment serving also some food. Likely I am about 30 years too old to fancy this place, or I was not drinking enough. The choice of beers is poor. On paper they offer many different beers and ales, but in reality only a few. The food is basically fast food, and not really tasty.

A large group of 14, we went there for a Saturday night dinner. It wasnt too busy so we moved a few tables togather to seat us. Service was OK as was the food. Nothing exceptional but was expecting pub food. Only dish I wouldn't order was fish chips. Fish came with a huge amount of batter. Could hardly find the fish. Told the waitress who organised another piece of fish but it was the same as the first. Must be the way its served.
