Odd Burger - Waterloo

I love strange burgers. All vegan fast food with a massive amount of options. Prices are competitive. Tastes great, my favorites are the sayings, wing-alings with Korean sesame sauce, Greek pommes oh and the Venedict. If you are vegan, vegetarian, or none of the above, this place is a must! All my friends really like it.

I came here for the soft serve ice cream. The ice cream looks great, but it was a bit gooey er than I expected and instead of a sweet vanilla flavour it had a vinegary, acidic taste that reminded me of rancid food. I went back to the shop to flag this, but was assured that this flavour was normal for soy soft serve and that the machine was cleaned and re stocked the prior day. Both my friend and I ended up throwing our soft serve cones away since the taste was a little too concerning; I’ve had soy ice cream for years and haven’t encountered this type of acidic taste before. Perhaps go to the nearby FourAll if you want vegan ice cream. I’m still giving the store two stars since it might just have been a bad batch and the rest of the menu was fully vegan and looked good soft serve just might not be the store’s forté.
