Jack's Family Restaurant - Waterloo

After a hot day shopping at the Market we decided we wanted a sit down meal. Not a walk/shop and eat meal. This is located conveniently with in walking distance across the street. It was very busy that day and there was a wait list. There was a slight mess up, as they didnt come outside to call for us. I did go in and question what was going on, and with that they quickly seated us. Once seated we were promptly looked after and brought our drinks, which we greatly needed as it was a hot summer day. We all ordered a variety of wraps with greek/garden salads. Although the wraps were good, they were messy. There just seemed to be too much sauce on each of them. This a busy place, but we found the food just average. Our server was great, she didnt miss a beat. She even brought us extra napkins. Maybe we will try something different next time.

The food here is very good and the service is always efficient and friendly. There were 4 of us and everyone's meal was delicious. They serve big helpings which are hard to finish so bring a big appetite.

This restaurant never disappoints. They have delicious breakfast , lunch and dinner options. Food is freshly prepared, excellent service, good portion size and tasty. We were a group of six and all ordered different menu items. All of our meals were served together, perfect timing of the kitchen and wait staff.

We have been going to this restaurant for years. It is well organized, the menu is extensive, portions are substantial, pricing reasonable, and the servers always friendly, prompt and professional (especially Kelly S and Sia M). I would highly recommend Jacks!

I was so hyped on coming here because of all the reviews but it really disappointed me, the customer service is one of the superb I’ve had and to be expected of a non chain restaurant. Love the ambiance but the fish ‘n chips are heavily breaded that I had to take the breading off so I can at least eat the fish and not waste it.
