Chill Bar and Grill - Waterloo

This is the place to go for great chicken wings. Most other offerings are pub grub, maybe too much deep fried fare. They have a deck for summer seating. It is dark decor and poor lighting inside. Service can be spotty, the waitresses work hard but there aren't enough. My personal, biggest complaint is that they insist upon playing music too loud and reluctantly turn it down a small amount. Unnecessarily loud music causes loud conversations as that is why people socialize here. Sports bar with lots of TVs

Great chicken wings and love the buffalo chips. Very small but fast receiving orders and friendly staff. Great place to watch a game and meet up with friends. Decor could be updated a little.

They have a new lunch menu and soon a new total menu. All reports are favourable and tasting good. They always have great service and a great atmosphere but the new menu will add to its excellence. A very nice local bar and nice people.

I hate to rate low because this is honestly an awesome establishment - but booze/drug fuelled regulars are doing more damage than I think the owner knows. There's a certain regular crowd that shows up from time to time who are nothing but loudly profane and making team coke trips to the washroom (they don't hide it when you're in there) - these customers are starting to give the chill a pretty bad reputation amongst many. I can't take my family there anymore which is sad because the staff and atmosphere are great.....I'm not isolated- there are many customers who feel the same

Well, what can I say?. Since moving to this end of Waterloo about 18 months ago, we have frequented this eatery probably 15? times. NOT once have my wife and I walked away disappointed. The food has always been great, service excellent, and friendly staff.You can easily spot the signs of a good establishment by the amount of patrons that are "requlars" and such is the case here. Every time we eat here, I see a lot of people from the previous time. I usually opt for their burger, which is made from scratch, and is excellent, served with fries, or if you like, a salad. . My wife usually orders the foot long hot dog with cheese and bacon, and it has been great each time. I have had their Nacho's, and they too, were great.Icing on the cake, if you are a Kitchener Rangers Fan, the Ranger Bus picks up directly from the parking lot , and returns in the same place after the game.Give them a try if you are in the area. You won't be disappointed.
